With so many options available, finding a good music teacher can feel like an overwhelming task. My name is Max Bonanno. I teach singing and piano at Sonic Crew Lee in South East London and over the next 3 minutes I’m going to answer some of the most common questions I get asked. I hope that will help you decide whether I’m the right teacher for you. Let’s do it!

Q1: What’s your background?

A1: I’ve studied classical piano at my hometown’s Conservatoire in Italy. As far as singing is concerned, I have graduated in Pop Music Performance here in London in 2003. I’ve been working professionally as a singer and keyboard player ever since.

Q2: Where are you based?

A2: My private studio is based in Lee, South East London. I’m literally 3 minutes walk from Lee Rail Station and also I’m very easy to reach from Hither Green, Blackheath, Greenwich, Eltham London Bridge and Bromley.

Q3: What styles do you teach?

A3: I teach pop and rock singing and on the piano, I specialize in classical and pop music.

Q4: What ages do you teach?

A4: I teach adults and children aged 6+. I hold a DBS certificate and I’m very experienced teaching children and preparing them for grades if needed.

Q5: How much are your lessons?

A5: My lessons start at £45 per hour. I’ve got different plans available and the price depends on the plan you subscribe to. Also, I’ve got 30-minute lessons available for children aged between 6 and 9.

Q6: How often should I take lessons?

A6: Most of my students see me weekly, and some every fortnight. There are no rules set in stone, though. At the end of the day, it comes down to how much practice you’ll be able to do in between sessions.

Q7: How do I get started?

A7: The first step is to book a phone consultation with me via my website (click on this link). I have a limited number of 1-to-1 slots available and I want to make sure we’re a good fit for each other. If we are, I will invite you to a FREE 30-minute introductory lesson where you’ll be able to experience my teaching style first hand. And if you decide you’d like to carry on taking lessons with me, you’ll be able to pick from the membership plans I’ve got available and subscribe to one. Just check the website for more details.

Q8: What makes you different?

A8: What I teach isn’t just theoretical knowledge. I’m a very active musician with tons of experience in both in a live and recording environment. Sonic Crew is where I pass my knowledge, experience and philosophy on to my students.

Nothing matters more to me than helping them transform into skilled and confident musicians.
